Bruce Henderson
BCG Growth-Share Matrix, Experience Curve
Founder of the Boston Consulting Group (1963), Henderson transformed management consulting into a strategy discipline. He introduced the Experience Curve, showing that unit costs fall predictably with cumulative output, and the Growth-Share Matrix, a portfolio tool classifying business units by market growth and relative share. Both frameworks remain foundational in corporate strategy education and practice.
