Chelsea Finn is an Associate Professor at Stanford University in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. She developed MAML during her PhD at UC Berkeley, giving models the ability to learn new tasks from very few examples via gradient-based meta-learning. She teaches Stanford's CS330 (Deep Multi-Task and Meta Learning), whose lecture recordings are widely used beyond the university.
