Co-founder of Palladium Group, a strategy execution consultancy. Together with Robert Kaplan, Norton developed the Balanced Scorecard — a performance management framework linking financial and non-financial metrics to strategy — first published in Harvard Business Review in 1992, and later extended into Strategy Maps, which visualise cause-and-effect relationships across strategic objectives.
