Eli Goldratt
Theory of Constraints; The Goal.
Eli Goldratt (1947–2011) was an Israeli physicist turned management theorist who founded the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and its associated Thinking Processes. His 1984 business novel 'The Goal' popularised TOC by dramatising throughput-focused manufacturing optimisation, selling millions of copies worldwide. TOC has since been applied across supply chains, project management, and strategy.
