Eliyahu Goldratt
Critical Chain (in addition to TOC).
Eliyahu M. Goldratt (1947–2011) was an Israeli physicist-turned-management theorist best known for the Theory of Constraints (TOC), a systems-thinking framework for identifying and relieving bottlenecks. He popularised TOC through his business novel 'The Goal' (1984) and extended it to project scheduling with Critical Chain (1997), which reframes project delays around resource contention and buffer management.
