Gavin Wood is founder of Parity Technologies and the Polkadot network. He co-founded Ethereum, authored its first technical implementation, and created Solidity, the dominant smart-contract language. His 2014 'Web3' vision of a decentralised internet stack became the conceptual foundation for an entire industry.
