Ansoff Matrix (product/market growth)
Ansoff was a Russian-American applied mathematician and academic, latterly a professor at United States International University. His 1965 book 'Corporate Strategy' introduced the discipline of strategic planning to management. He is best remembered for the Ansoff Matrix, which classifies growth options as market penetration, market development, product development, or diversification.
