Mincer earnings function.
Jacob Mincer (1922–2006) was a professor at Columbia University and a founder of modern labour economics. His 1974 book 'Schooling, Experience, and Earnings' introduced the earnings function that bears his name, providing the empirical backbone for human capital theory.
