Jagdeep Singh Bachher serves as Chief Investment Officer of the University of California's investment office, overseeing pension, endowment, and working capital assets totalling well over $150bn. He built his reputation restructuring UC's portfolio around systematic risk factors rather than traditional asset-class buckets. Before joining UC in 2014, he held senior roles at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo).
