Former Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and ex-Commercial Secretary to the UK Treasury. Coined 'BRICs' in a 2001 Goldman paper that reframed global economic forecasting around Brazil, Russia, India, and China; later added the 'MINT' grouping. Also chaired the UK government's Review on Antimicrobial Resistance.
