John Doerr is chairman of Kleiner Perkins, the Silicon Valley firm behind early bets on Google, Amazon, and Genentech. He backed Google in 1999 and introduced the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework—originating from Andy Grove at Intel—to its founders. His 2018 book Measure What Matters spread OKRs across thousands of organisations globally.
