Kim Clark
Design Rules, dominant designs (with Baldwin)
Former Dean of Harvard Business School and subsequently president of BYU–Idaho. Clark's scholarly record spans technology strategy and product development, with particular focus on how industries evolve around dominant designs. He is best known for co-authoring 'Design Rules: The Power of Modularity' (2000) with Carliss Baldwin, arguing that modular architectures redistribute innovative activity across supply chains.
