Founder of Henderson Land Development, Lee Shau Kee stepped back from executive duties around 2019, handing chairmanship to his sons. Over five decades he accumulated a vast Hong Kong and mainland China property portfolio by buying land counter-cyclically during downturns. He is also a co-founder of Sun Hung Kai Properties and Hong Kong & China Gas.
