Marcos Galperin is the founder and chief executive of MercadoLibre, which he launched in 1999 after studying at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Under his continuous leadership the company grew into the largest e-commerce and fintech platform across Latin America, listed on NASDAQ. His signature contribution is pairing marketplace liquidity with an integrated payments and credit ecosystem—MercadoPago—that serves both merchants and unbanked consumers.
