Interest and Prices; New Keynesian framework.

Michael Woodford is a professor of political economy at Columbia University. His 2003 book *Interest and Prices* synthesised intertemporal optimisation and nominal rigidities into the canonical three-equation New Keynesian model used by central banks worldwide. He is also known for advancing the theory of forward guidance and the role of expectations in monetary policy.
