Mike Krieger co-founded Instagram in 2010 with Kevin Systrom and served as its CTO through its $1 billion acquisition by Facebook and subsequent global growth. He built and led the engineering organisation that scaled Instagram's infrastructure to handle hundreds of millions of users. After leaving Instagram in 2018, he co-founded Artifact, an AI-driven personalised news app, with Systrom in 2023.
