Peter Lynch

Invest in what you know, tenbaggers, story-driven GARP (One Up On Wall Street)

Peter Lynch managed Fidelity's Magellan Fund from 1977 to 1990, compounding returns at roughly 29% per year and growing assets from $18 million to $14 billion. He popularised growth at a reasonable price (GARP) investing and the idea that ordinary consumers spot great stocks before Wall Street does. His 1989 book One Up On Wall Street codified his approach, including the 'tenbagger' concept for stocks that return ten times their purchase price.
