Emeritus professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he held the Edmund W. Littlefield Chair. His research maps how large firms generate and select new ventures internally, producing the induced/autonomous strategy framework. Best known for 'Strategy Is Destiny' and decades of Intel case research that grounded his ecological view of corporate strategy.
