Magnit retail ops

Sergey Galitsky founded Magnit in Krasnodar in 1994 and served as its CEO until selling his controlling stake to VTB Bank in 2018. Under his operational leadership, Magnit expanded to tens of thousands of outlets across Russia, becoming a benchmark for low-cost, high-density convenience retail. He also self-funded FC Krasnodar and its youth academy, widely regarded as the best privately built football infrastructure in Russia.
