Thomas Wurster
Blown to Bits (with Evans), information economics of strategy
Thomas Wurster was a partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he collaborated with Philip Evans on the informational foundations of competitive advantage. Together they argued that the historical trade-off between richness and reach of information was collapsing, destabilising established value chains. Their 1999 book 'Blown to Bits' became a widely cited framework for understanding how digital economics transforms industry structure.
