Cognitive Surplus, Here Comes Everybody (peer-production model)
Clay Shirky is a writer and academic who has taught at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Programme. He is the author of 'Here Comes Everybody' (2008) and 'Cognitive Surplus' (2010), which argue that spare human attention, when aggregated via the internet, produces large-scale collaborative output that disrupts traditional media and organisational models.
