Michael Dubin
Dollar Shave Club: subscription razors via viral content
Co-founder and former CEO of Dollar Shave Club, which he sold to Unilever in 2016 for roughly $1 billion. Built the business largely on a self-produced 2012 YouTube video that generated mass consumer sign-ups overnight and redefined how consumer-goods brands use content marketing. His model proved that subscription commerce plus irreverent brand voice could unseat entrenched incumbents.
