Renée Mauborgne
Blue Ocean Strategy, Value Innovation
Renée Mauborgne is Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Strategy at INSEAD, France. Alongside W. Chan Kim, she developed the Blue Ocean Strategy framework, published in their 2005 book of the same name, which became one of the best-selling strategy texts globally. Her central concept, value innovation, holds that firms grow fastest by making competition irrelevant rather than outpacing rivals.
