Common mistakes

3 traps
Overcomplicating Your Marketing Strategy
Don't try to use too many marketing tactics or strategies at once. This can confuse your audience and make it harder to build trust and credibility. Keep your marketing strategy simple and focused on what works best for your customers.
Not Listening to Your Customers
Don't assume you know what your customers want or need. Take the time to listen to their feedback, concerns, and objections. This will help you create a marketing strategy that resonates with them deeply.
Not Being Authentic and Transparent
Don't try to be someone you're not or make false promises to your customers. Be authentic, transparent, and honest in your marketing efforts. This will help you build trust and credibility with your audience.

Origin story

How this framework came to be

The Belief Building Marketing framework was developed by Billy Broas, who partnered with Tiago Forte to write the marketing book they wish they'd had when they first struck out on their own. Billy's experience with his NASA brewery, which was complex and malfunctioning, parallels his experience in marketing, where he saw many smart people attempt marketing only to watch their best efforts go up in flames. He realized that the best solutions are simple and elegant, and that's what this framework is all about.
