Gods of Management, Sigmoid Curve, Shamrock Organization
Handy is an Irish management philosopher, formerly a professor at London Business School and Shell executive. His books, including 'The Age of Unreason' and 'The Empty Raincoat', argued that traditional employment and organisations were being fundamentally restructured. He is best known for the Shamrock Organisation (core staff, contractors, part-timers), the Sigmoid Curve as a tool for timing change, and his four-culture 'Gods of Management' framework.
