Earl Nightingale (1921–1989) was an American radio personality and co-founder of Nightingale-Conant Corporation, the dominant producer of personal-development audio programmes. His spoken-word record 'The Strangest Secret' — built on the premise that 'we become what we think about' — was the first of its kind to sell a million copies.
