Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling (1948–2017) was Professor of International Health at Karolinska Institute, Sweden, and co-founder of the Gapminder Foundation. He built his reputation on demolishing misconceptions about poverty, health, and population through animated data visualisations. His posthumously published book Factfulness (2018), co-authored with Ola Rosling and Anna Rosling Rönnlund, argues that the world is improving faster than most people believe.
