Start with No, "Camp System" negotiation
Jim Camp was a negotiation trainer and founder of the Camp Negotiation Institute. He argued that the dominant win-win model leaves value on the table, teaching instead that granting the counterpart the right to say 'no' reduces neediness and produces better outcomes. His 2002 book Start with No became a widely cited alternative to the Harvard principled-negotiation school.
