Intent-Based Leadership, Turn the Ship Around

Retired US Navy captain and author, best known for his book 'Turn the Ship Around!' (2013), which recounts his command of the USS Santa Fe. He reversed one of the Navy's worst-performing submarines into its best by replacing leader-follower dynamics with a leader-leader model. His Intent-Based Leadership framework is widely adopted in corporate and military contexts.
