Marcus Buckingham
Strengths-based management, First Break All the Rules
Buckingham is a researcher and author, formerly with Gallup and later head of people and performance research at the ADP Research Institute. He co-authored First, Break All the Rules (1999) with Curt Coffman, distilling findings from interviews with over 80,000 managers. His central argument is that great managers build on employees' natural strengths rather than correcting weaknesses.
