Marshall Rosenberg (1934–2015) was an American psychologist and founder of the Centre for Nonviolent Communication. He developed NVC, a four-step communication process distinguishing observations from evaluations and connecting feelings to unmet needs. His book *Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life* became a global staple in mediation, education, and organisational conflict resolution.
