Nassim Nicholas Taleb
Incerto; antifragility, via negativa, Lindy.
Taleb is a Distinguished Professor of Risk Engineering at New York University and a former derivatives trader. His five-volume Incerto — including *The Black Swan* and *Antifragile* — argues that systems exposed to volatility grow stronger, and that rare, high-impact events are systematically underestimated. He is credited with introducing antifragility and the Lindy effect as practical mental models for decision-making under uncertainty.
