John and Natty McArthur University Professor at Harvard University, one of the institution's most senior academic appointments. Her early research established the concept of architectural innovation — how firms can be disrupted by changes in how components fit together, even when each component is familiar. Her 2020 book *Reimagining Capitalism in a World on Fire* makes the case that business must lead systemic reform to avert ecological and social collapse.
