Evidence-based management, No Asshole Rule, scaling excellence
Robert I. Sutton is a professor at Stanford University's School of Engineering and a co-founder of the d.school. He built his reputation on applying rigorous evidence to workplace behaviour, most visibly through his book 'The No Asshole Rule', which argued for measuring and enforcing workplace civility. He later co-authored 'Scaling Up Excellence', examining how organisations spread good practices without diluting them.
