Retired US Army four-star general and founder of the McChrystal Group, a leadership consultancy. As commander of JSOC in Iraq, he transformed a rigid hierarchy into a decentralised network of empowered teams to outpace Al-Qaeda. His 2015 book 'Team of Teams' argues that complex environments demand shared consciousness and distributed decision-making over traditional command structures.
