Professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has studied judgement, decision-making, and moral reasoning for decades. His textbook 'Thinking and Deciding' is a standard graduate reference in the field. He developed the actively open-minded thinking scale, measuring the disposition to revise beliefs in light of evidence and argument.
