Paul Glimcher
neuroeconomics founder.
Julius Silver Professor of Neural Science, Economics, and Psychology at New York University. Glimcher built foundational empirical and theoretical work linking dopamine systems to economic utility, published in 'Decisions, Uncertainty, and the Brain' (2003) and 'Foundations of Neuroeconomics' (2011). He helped establish neuroeconomics as a formal discipline bridging neuroscience and behavioural economics.
