Sheena Iyengar
choice overload; The Art of Choosing.
Professor at Columbia Business School's Management Division, where she studies the psychology of choice. Her landmark 'jam study' demonstrated that an excess of options paradoxically reduces consumer engagement and satisfaction — the foundational evidence for choice overload theory. She is the author of 'The Art of Choosing' (2010), which brought her research to a general audience.
