Stuart Sutherland

Irrationality (1992 classic).

Stuart Sutherland was Professor of Experimental Psychology at the University of Sussex. He built a career studying perception and animal learning before turning to popularising cognitive science. His book Irrationality (1992) surveys the systematic errors — from conformity to availability bias — that undermine human judgement, and remains a standard reference in decision-science reading lists.
